Project TransSLO PLUS

Welcome to the TransSLO-PLUS project website. TransSLO-PLUS was a Slovenian national project implemented in the framework of the Target Research Programme »Slovenian Competitiveness 2006-2013« between the 1st of September 2008 and the 31st of August 2011.

The project was oriented towards researchers, institutions and companies working in the field of transport. The main aim of the project was the establishment of a permanent research network, which would advance the collaboration between the addressed stakeholders. More intensive collaboration will enable stakeholders to form a more comprehensive and advanced body of common theoretical and applied knowledge thereby increasing their competitiveness at the international level and leveraging the building of Slovenia-based international research consortia.

Success of this project can be confirmed by many records in the transport base, which was made during the project, as well as national and international events, that were carried out in the framework of the project and were attended by more than 200 national and international experts from the fields of transport and logistics.

»SEETRANS 2011« 12th and 13th April 2011, Ljubljana, Slovenia

“SEETRANS 2011” Transport Research Opportunities for South East Europe in the EU, brought together research community as well as representatives of business and politics from Slovenia, South Eastern European countries and the rest of the EU in order to present their research results, their research capabilities and plans. Based on expressed research interests and aims, the working groups focused at specific research topics in order to get prepared and to form potential partnerships for the next 7.FP calls and following 8.FP calls.
